Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, making each day meaningful
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in Massachusetts)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to provide compassionate resident-centered care with attention to detail
Education
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program for LPNs or an accredited nursing program for RNs
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care
- Proficient with patient assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Comfortable working in fast-paced skilled nursing and rehab environments
- Good clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork skills
