Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients across the continuum of care
• Develop individualized care plans that promote function, mobility, and patient independence
• Collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff to optimize outcomes
• Document interventions and progress clearly and timely in the patient record
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safe mobility strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical processes

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain before starting
• Experience in physical therapy practice, rehab, or outpatient settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and comfort working within an interdisciplinary team
• Flexible attitude and ability to work a seven-day coverage schedule as required by the facility

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or relevant degree accepted
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in evaluation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
• Familiarity with rehab documentation and care planning
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers in simple, actionable ways
• Comfortable using electronic health records and tracking patient outcomes
• Solid clinical reasoning and problem-solving in fast-paced settings
