Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Rehab Center of Albuquerque
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support rehab goals
• Document patient progress and care plans clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to emergencies and prioritize patient safety at all times
• Support unit workflow and mentor peers to maintain high-quality care delivery

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - NY/NM licensure must be active and in good standing as required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (obtaining certification prior to start may be required)
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or related clinical settings is a strong plus
• Clear clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or LPN certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical monitoring
• Medication administration and adherence to safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation
• Strong communication and patient/family education skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT/OT/SLP and physicians)
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
