Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts for accurate interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, including automatic injector operation and contrast administration
• Maintain equipment care, daily/weekly QC, and documentation of records
• Assist with interventional/CT procedures and sterile technique when required
• Transfer and prepare patients safely, adapting protocols for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and inventory/supply management
• Ensure proper teleradiology transmission and work with referring physicians for imaging needs
• Rotate shifts, cover on-call assignments, and assume department responsibility in the supervisor's absence

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (Radiography) required
• Clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams relevant to assigned modality
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple imaging modalities (XR, CT, MRI, Mammography) as needed
• Must be able to respond to on-call notifications and report within 20 minutes
• Strong patient care skills and commitment to radiation safety and quality assurance

Education

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)

• Radiography and CT operation and safety
• Contrast administration and automatic injector operation
• Radiation protection and quality assurance procedures
• Patient transfer, positioning, and age-appropriate care
• Teleradiology transmission and basic interventional support
• Sterile technique and venipuncture familiarity
• Ability to adapt protocols for pediatric and geriatric patients
