Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect resident care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders
Interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and achieve positive resident outcomes
Educate residents and family members about conditions, treatments and self-care to promote independence
Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care and resident satisfaction
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care and compliance

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current CPR certification required
Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
Strong skills in medication administration and resident assessment
Comfortable interpreting diagnostic tests and applying results to care plans
Excellent documentation and care planning abilities
Effective collaboration and communication with physicians and the care team
Familiarity with performance improvement and culturally competent care

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $7,500
Compensation structure with 30 pay increments to recognize up to 30 years of relevant experience
