Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams including general, OB (all three trimesters), and vascular studies
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (Toshiba units; new Phillips incoming) to ensure quality imaging
• Document and accurately chart studies using EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists and the radiology team to support diagnostic decision-making
• Provide compassionate patient care, prepare patients for procedures, and explain imaging steps clearly
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to evening and weekend imaging needs when scheduled

Qualifications

• ARDMS (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS via CCI) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Comfortable performing general ultrasound, OB (all trimesters), and vascular studies
• Echo/RDCS is a nice-to-have but not required
• Minimum clinical experience performing ultrasound studies (site notes indicate 1 year of experience)
• Able to be in-state for orientation week and able to provide driver’s license; agency must provide traveler rad badge

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS charting systems
• Experience scanning on Toshiba ultrasound units; familiarity with Phillips systems is a plus
• Ability to handle an average caseload of ~10-15 studies per day depending on hours
• Strong technical imaging skills across vascular and OB protocols
• Comfortable with on-call workflows and evening coverage
