Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with precision to support early detection of breast cancer
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment while ensuring excellent image quality
• Follow ACR and MQSA standards for imaging, documentation, and quality assurance
• Provide compassionate care that prioritizes patient comfort, safety, and clear communication
• Document exams and QA activities accurately to support clinical workflow and compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and MQSA/ACR standards
• Strong patient positioning, communication, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of ACR and MQSA standards
• Proficient operating mammography equipment and ensuring image quality
• Skilled in documentation and mammography QA processes
• Understanding of radiation safety and proper patient positioning
• Patient-focused bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
