Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray exams with a focus on patient safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain GE Revo Maxima CT, GE XR AMX Navigate and GE Definium Tempo Pro equipment
• Accurately document exams in GE PACS, Meditech and Clario and ensure timely image delivery
• Collaborate with ER RNs, MDs and security to support emergency department workflow
• Work independently when required and step into team roles to support unit needs
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety and unit-specific policies and procedures
• Provide clear, compassionate patient communication and positioning for optimal imaging

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT required
• ARRT-R required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic CT and X-ray (experience in ED/FSER settings a plus)
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and GE PACS, Meditech or Clario documentation systems
• Willingness to float to the main hospital campus for some shifts
• Able to follow unit dress code (black scrubs) and unit-specific policies

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Proficiency with GE imaging consoles and PACS workflow
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for ED interactions
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize in an emergency setting
• Attention to documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
