Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and manual therapy
• Track patient progress and update clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and functional goals
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and support rehab aides and assistive personnel when applicable

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state or able to obtain WA licensure promptly
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working day shifts and providing care on weekends as part of coverage
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care
• Previous acute or rehab experience preferred; open to clinicians excited to grow with the team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (or equivalent clinical degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and gait/balance training
• Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of mobility aids, adaptive equipment, and fall prevention strategies
• Ability to perform thorough functional assessments and set measurable goals
• Strong patient education skills and ability to adapt interventions to individual needs
