Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams using contrast and non-contrast protocols to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate GE MRI equipment confidently and follow safety protocols for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and technologists to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient experience
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including screening, positioning and patient education
• Document procedures and findings in Cerner accurately and timely
• Adapt to rotating schedules and support weekend coverage while maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

• MRI registered (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (explicit requirement)
• Comfortable performing contrast and non-contrast MRI exams
• Experience with GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR preferred
• Breast MRI experience is a plus and will be considered favorably
• Ability to work rotating weekends and varied day/evening hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI imaging techniques, protocols and patient safety
• Hands-on experience with MRI contrast administration and non-contrast protocols
• Familiarity with GE MRI equipment
• Competent using Cerner for documentation and order management
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills for high-quality imaging
