Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and mobility
• Closely monitor progress and modify plans to achieve measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Comfortable working in inpatient rehabilitation settings and collaborating with rehab teams
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and manual therapy skills
• Professional communication skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
• Proficient with documentation in electronic health records
• Knowledge of rehab protocols, safe transfer techniques, and equipment use
• Strong patient education, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
