Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist nursing team with patient hygiene, mobility, and safe transfers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support patient needs
• Document care delivered in a timely and precise manner following facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control practices
• Comfortable with mobility assistance, bathing, feeding, and toileting support
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
• Familiarity with charting/documentation and basic medical terminology
• Good time management and the ability to work independently when needed
