Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients regularly and deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care and clinical changes clearly in the chart
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to create and execute care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
• Respond to urgent situations calmly and efficiently while following facility protocols
• Support unit flow by admitting, transferring, and discharging patients as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — ready to practice
• Experience or comfort working as a travel nurse in acute care settings
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to a dynamic unit
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical charting
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Adaptability to new environments and facility-specific procedures
