Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Support mobility and safe transfers while following proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly with nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification (required)
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and providing direct patient care
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Reliable transportation to the assignment site

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
• Proficient at taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and multidisciplinary teams
• Good time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
