Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams, including contrast and non-contrast studies, to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate GE MRI equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to imaging protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and support staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Prepare and screen patients for MRI procedures, including assessing contraindications and ensuring patient comfort
• Document exam details and maintain accurate records in Cerner EMR
• Follow safety and infection control policies, and contribute to a positive unit environment

Qualifications

• MRI certification/registration required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as listed in the posting)
• Experience with GE MRI systems preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus
• Breast MRI experience is preferred but not required
• Current basic life support (BLS) or facility-required certifications as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and protocols
• Proficient with GE MRI scanners and imaging sequences
• Skilled in performing contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures
• Ability to navigate and document in Cerner EMR
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced radiology environment
