Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural protocols are followed
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members for seamless care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Florida (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience relevant to Cardiac Cath Lab as indicated
- Comfortable working scheduled day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) on a travel/contract assignment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
Education
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflows
- Ability to monitor and interpret patient vitals and hemodynamic data
- Proficiency maintaining sterile field and infection-control practices
- Good clinical judgment, triage skills, and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with physicians and clinical staff
