Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography studies with accuracy and compassion
• Operate TEE equipment and assist with intra-operative TEE during procedures
• Conduct stress echoes and bubble studies, producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Support structural heart procedures and collaborate with interventional teams in the cath lab or OR
• Document studies thoroughly in the EMR (MEDITECH / CCW) and ensure accuracy of patient records
• Maintain equipment competency on GE platforms and report any technical issues promptly
• Communicate findings clearly to the clinical team and contribute to excellent patient care
• Participate in on-call and rotating weekend coverage as part of the unit’s team-based model

Qualifications

• RDMS and CCI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant echocardiography experience
• Demonstrated experience with adult and pediatric echo, TEE, bubble studies, and stress echo
• Experience supporting structural heart procedures and intra-operative TEE preferred
• Comfortable using MEDITECH and CCW electronic charting systems
• Team player attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in adult and pediatric echocardiography
• Proficiency with TEE, intra-operative TEE, stress echo, and bubble studies
• Familiarity with GE imaging systems and image optimization
• Experience supporting structural heart and EP procedures
• Clinical documentation experience in MEDITECH and CCW
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm during procedural support
