Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to policy
- Monitor, assess and document resident condition, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement care plans
- Educate residents and families about care plans, medications and recovery goals
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with facility standards
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) — Massachusetts license preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to perform duties required for resident care, documentation, and medication administration
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program for LPN
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN for Registered Nurse candidates preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and basic nursing care skills
- Medication administration and safety practices
- Charting and documentation (electronic medical record familiarity a plus)
- Infection control and wound care basics
- Effective communication with residents, families and care teams
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
