Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, prioritizing dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor resident conditions, communicate changes to the care team, and escalate when needed
- Assist with activities of daily living and support residents’ individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain clear, timely charting and ensure regulatory and facility documentation standards are met
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in Massachusetts)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain promptly)
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and delivering hands-on long-term care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a resident-centered approach
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, certificate, or associate degree as applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing assessment and clinical decision-making
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Familiarity with long-term care and rehab patient needs
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and excellent interpersonal skills
