Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in the Emergency Department
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for acute and critical patients
- Initiate and manage emergency interventions, including IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes promptly and thoroughly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care with clarity and empathy
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and TNCC preferred
- Previous Emergency Department experience preferred for night shifts
- Ability to pass facility-required health screenings and background checks
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
- Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Calm, decisive critical-thinking and prioritization in high-acuity situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ED environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
