Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per facility policy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Document care and interventions clearly and promptly in the charting system
• Support rehabilitation goals by assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic programs
• Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts LPN license required (RN candidates also welcome — RN licensure in MA if applying as RN)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings is a plus
• Comfort and competency working 12-hour day shifts
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to pass background and health screenings required by the facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program (for LPN role)
• ADN or BSN for candidates applying as Registered Nurse

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Familiarity with rehab and skilled nursing care practices
• Accurate clinical documentation and time management skills
• Basic wound care and infection control principles
• Teamwork and ability to collaborate with therapists and nursing staff
• Comfort using electronic health records and standard clinical tools
