Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN — your care makes days better
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care clearly and thoroughly, ensuring continuity and safety
- Support residents with activities of daily living with dignity and respect
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
- Related experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable ability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (or equivalent vocational nursing program)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of medication administration and documentation
- Skilled in resident assessment and recognizing changes in condition
- Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
- Good interpersonal skills — kindness and clarity go a long way
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
