Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate direct patient care, ensuring dignity and respect for each person
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical changes in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
- Perform wound care, basic procedures and nursing interventions according to scope of practice
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, organized charting and follow facility policies and protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN licensure (candidate must be eligible to practice in New Hampshire)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Previous experience in long-term care or med-surg settings preferred
- Ability to work Monday-Friday daytime schedule and adapt to facility policies
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Comfortable with electronic health record charting
- Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
- Patient- and family-centered communication and education
