Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Shift Type: Days vary, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care and daily assessments for residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
- Monitor changes in patient condition and communicate findings to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to develop and implement care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and independence
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure compliance with facility policies
- Participate in shift handoffs and team communication to ensure safe continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (or compact/state license as applicable)
- Minimum clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome to inquire about opportunities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, patient-centered approach with attention to detail and documentation
- Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings
Education
- LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
- RN: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program as applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and wound care basics
- Comfortable with resident assessments and recognizing changes in condition
- Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation or willingness to learn
- Good time management, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and ability to support families and residents
- Team player who contributes to a positive, safety-focused culture
