Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support safe mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Accurately document care and communicate clearly with the care team
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through empathy and respect
Qualifications
- Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) — Class: GNA
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and safety protocols
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and resident safety practices
- Assisting with ADLs and supporting mobility
- Accurate documentation and care reporting
- Teamwork, time management, and respectful communication
