Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities with dignity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, accurate clinical records
• Educate patients and families about care plans and promote a safe environment

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain on hire)
• Clean clinical background with commitment to patient-centered care
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and performing hands-on nursing duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles, medication administration and documentation
• Ability to assess patient needs and prioritize care effectively
• Familiarity with infection control standards and resident safety practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide empathetic care
• Proficient in electronic charting or willingness to learn facility systems
