Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and independence
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and document residents' conditions, including vital signs and behavior changes
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention efforts during transfers and ambulation
• Follow care plans and communicate changes or concerns promptly to the nursing team
• Participate in infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families, offering emotional support

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; T-CNA classification listed for this role
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-required health clearances
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire if required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs in a long-term care environment
• Accurate documentation and charting of resident status and care provided
• Basic vital sign measurement and monitoring
• Infection prevention, safety protocols, and safe resident handling
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
