Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients closely, take and record vital signs, and report changes to the care team
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention interventions
• Document care accurately and contribute to clear, timely communication with nurses and families
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents to promote dignity and well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; T-CNA or travel CNA credentials a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and working as part of a fast-paced care team
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive, patient-first attitude
• Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks for the facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Accurate vital sign assessment and basic clinical observation skills
• Good charting and documentation habits
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents, families, and staff
• Basic mobility assistance and safe patient handling techniques
