Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and deliver high-quality nursing care during overnight hours
- Administer medications and therapies accurately and document care in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Provide compassionate patient and family education and emotional support
- Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity and safety of care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or eligible to obtain) — LPN candidates may be considered per posted class
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and experience in acute care or rehab settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing excellent care on night shift
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's for RN; LPN diploma/program for LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
- Wound care basics and pressure injury prevention
- Infection control practices and safety protocols
- Effective bedside communication and patient/family education
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly in urgent situations
