Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation and mobility support
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control practices
• Support patients with feeding, toileting and personal hygiene while preserving dignity
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and document care accurately

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state where you will practice
• Current basic life support CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred
• Ability to pass background and health screenings required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient safety protocols
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection prevention and proper PPE use
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs in a busy unit
• Teamwork and clear communication with nurses, therapists and others
