Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and safe mobility
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team
Document care activities and observations in patient charts in a timely manner

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
Prior experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar clinical settings preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and respond calmly in busy situations

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, toileting, and basic comfort measures
Knowledgeable about vital signs, infection control, and safe patient handling
Comfortable with accurate charting and basic electronic documentation
Good observational skills to notice changes in patient status
Customer-service oriented mindset when interacting with patients and families
