Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
• Take and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Maintain clear, accurate patient records and communicate observations to the care team
• Ensure a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control protocols
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families when they need it

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and health screening (e.g., TB test, immunizations)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to perform physical aspects of the role

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Skilled at clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow care plans and supervisor instructions
