Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC and PCI
• Set up and operate GE imaging equipment and support imaging needs during procedures
• Support and manage temporary mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP
• Provide ventilator support as needed and assist the team during critically ill cases
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure sterile technique and equipment readiness
• Document procedure details and patient data accurately in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the cath lab team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Respond promptly and professionally as part of the on-call team when required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (explicitly required)
• Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP and ventilator management (must have)
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR
• Comfortable with procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM and shockwave
• Preferred: experience with vascular/peripheral interventions and EP procedures
• Relevant state licensure or cath-lab certification as required by the facility (e.g., RCIS/ARRT or equivalent) — verify specific credential needs with recruiter

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization fundamentals and interventional support
• Operation and troubleshooting of GE imaging systems
• Proficiency using Meditech for procedure documentation
• Competence with mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP)
• Ventilator familiarity and patient monitoring in cath settings
• Sterile technique, procedural setup, and instrument care
• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced procedural suites
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, hard-working attitude
