Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality resident care using the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Interpret diagnostic tests and integrate findings into the plan of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes
Provide culturally sensitive education and support to residents and their families
Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and safety

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current CPR certification required
Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Experience or comfort working 12-hour night shifts in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Care planning, implementation and evaluation using the nursing process
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans accordingly
Effective collaboration and communication with interdisciplinary teams
Cultural competency and resident-centered education skills
Familiarity with performance improvement methods in nursing
