Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation using CT and X-ray equipment
• Execute diagnostic medical radiography across the department and other care areas while applying radiation protection principles
• Maintain accurate patient records, files, and department documentation
• Lead and participate in departmental quality assurance and daily/weekly QC activities
• Assist with interventional procedures, prepare procedural equipment, and set up automatic injectors
• Administer contrast appropriately by age group and adjust protocols for pediatric and geriatric patients
• Provide safe patient transfers and venipuncture as needed; follow sterile technique and standard precautions
• Cover rotating shifts and take on-call duties; assume department responsibility in the absence of a supervisor
• Contribute to supply inventory, ordering, and general department upkeep

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Willingness to rotate shifts, take on-call assignments, and report promptly when called
• Comfortable learning and performing duties across modalities (XR, MRI, CT, Mammography) as directed
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation protection, contrast administration, and tele-radiology transmission

• Current ARRT in Radiography

• Proven skill in Radiography, CT, and X-ray imaging
• Radiation protection and quality assurance practices
• Contrast administration and automatic injector operation
• Tele-radiology transmission and sterile technique competence
• Venipuncture, patient transfer, and pediatric/geriatric protocol adjustments
• Ability to assist with interventional procedures and equipment care
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities
