Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight hours
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and staff to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight hours and working independently on per-diem shifts
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and ADLs
Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Accurate charting and attention to documentation detail
Team communication and escalation of clinical concerns
