Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to residents using the nursing process under RN supervision
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor resident conditions, assess changes, and report findings to the RN
• Document resident care, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the electronic chart
• Assume charge nurse duties when assigned—lead the nursing team during your shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote resident comfort and quality of life
• Provide compassionate resident-centered care and support family communication

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Graduate of an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an LVN
• Comfortable functioning under RN supervision and able to assume charge nurse duties when needed
• Proficient with basic computer documentation and electronic charting

Education

• Graduate of an approved LVN program; Associate degree or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of the nursing process and resident care in a SNF setting
• Good clinical judgment and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Planning and prioritization for safe, efficient care delivery
• Computer proficiency for charting and documentation

Benefits

• Sign-on bonus: $5,000
• Pay scale with 30 increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
