Shift Type: Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight shift into Wednesday)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support safe discharges
Document patient care clearly and timely in the medical record
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy
Respond to emergencies and prioritize interventions with confidence

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (California licensure expected for practice in state)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications such as ACLS recommended
Experience working overnight or in acute care settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently on night shift
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
BSN preferred where available

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and critical thinking for acute patient needs
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage fast-paced overnight workflow
Patient education and family communication skills
