Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the care team
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining privacy and dignity
Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and documentation
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, required
State authorization or ability to work in California as required
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
Competence in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
