Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy within credentialed areas of expertise.
• Deliver emergency and crisis intervention services, using sound clinical judgment under minimal supervision.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices and consumer needs.
• Offer information and referral services and coordinate care with community partners to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide consumer support services and community education that increase awareness and access to mental health resources.
• Consult with and support other staff when working with special populations (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired) per WAC 246-341-0515 qualifications.
• Document clinical work accurately and maintain professional communication with clinical leadership (Director of Outreach Services and/or Clinical Manager).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP (required).
• Minimum of two years' experience treating consumers in the assigned program area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and ability to deliver direct client services with minimal supervision.
• Ability to qualify under WAC 246-341-0515 for specialties (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services) when applicable.
• Strong judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to consult with and educate community partners and staff.

Education

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field (accredited program)
