Shift Type: Monday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight into Tuesday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Triage and assess urgent-care patients promptly and compassionately
Administer medications, start IVs and provide evidence-based treatments
Collaborate closely with providers and the care team to develop plans
Document assessments, interventions and outcomes clearly in the EHR
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, home care and follow-up
Maintain a safe, efficient urgent care environment and assist in procedures

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligible to obtain)
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Prior urgent care or emergency/ED experience preferred (1+ year ideal)
Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort with common urgent-care procedures
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to work overnight shifts and remain calm under pressure

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Urgent care triage and rapid patient assessment
IV insertion, medication administration and basic wound care
Familiarity with EHR documentation and clinical workflows
Infection control, patient safety and basic emergency response
Patient education, discharge planning and care coordination
