Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition promptly
Support mobility and safe transfer techniques to reduce fall risk
Assist nursing team with documentation and timely charting of care
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification (California) required
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts; reliable and punctual
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient hygiene, feeding, toileting, and positioning
Skilled at taking accurate vital signs and recognizing basic changes
Familiarity with bedside charting and communicating observations to nurses
Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
Team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
