Shift Type: Rotating 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 30-minute meal break. Two-week rotation: Week 1 — Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri; Week 2 — Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat (Day shift rotation)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct nursing care to residents in the Larkin Chase Center
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policy
- Monitor patient condition, intervene as needed, and escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team
- Document assessments, care, and communications clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and families to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support a positive, person-centered environment that promotes dignity and recovery
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or eligible for Maryland licensure
- Open to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates where applicable per the facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
- Comfortable working a rotating two-week day schedule including weekends
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and ready to join a collaborative care team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BSN preferred where available
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practice
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely charting
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and handle multiple patients
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Patient-centered approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
