Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, using safe body mechanics.
- Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Support nursing team with basic clinical tasks and timely documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control protocols.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site for assigned shifts.
Education
- High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately.
- Basic infection control and safety practices.
- Comfortable with clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail for reporting patient changes.
