Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and help patients with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting with dignity
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and families
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment following infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California (required)
• Active BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required depending on facility)
• Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and patient safety principles
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Basic charting and documentation best practices
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and recognize concerning changes
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patients
