Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners (GE and Siemens) to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Perform IV insertion and contrast administration safely and according to protocol
• Manage 20–30 studies per day with attention to accuracy, speed, and patient comfort
• Document exams and patient data in EPIC and archive images in Fuji Synapse/PACS
• Follow radiation safety protocols and use provided radiation badge for monitoring
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and patients to ensure smooth workflow
• Support department orientation processes and adhere to unit-specific dress code and policies

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist — ARRT (R) required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (general CT experience preferred)
• Comfortable starting IVs and working nights/weekends with call responsibilities
• Ability to submit a valid driver’s license and remain within a 60-mile radius for assignment logistics
• Able to be in-state for the week of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging principles and protocols
• Experience with EPIC charting and Fuji Synapse/PACS image management
• IV insertion and contrast administration skills
• Strong radiation safety and ALARA practice knowledge
• Ability to operate GE and Siemens CT scanners
• Excellent patient care and communication skills under busy, acute-care conditions
• Comfort with night-shift workflow and call procedures
