Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
• Develop individualized Plans of Care and implement therapeutic interventions to maximize function
• Supervise, instruct and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants, students and support staff
• Document daily notes, progress reports and special reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide hands-on treatment, assist with patient mobility and safe lifting when needed
• Perform inpatient and outpatient evaluations, including swing bed assessments, and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

• Earned degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (required)
• Current Colorado Physical Therapy licensure (required)
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings; comfort with pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients
• Ability to safely lift and move patients and operate therapeutic equipment (ability to handle ≥20 pounds)
• Strong communication skills and ability to supervise and mentor staff
• Willingness to provide occasional weekend coverage and adapt to a busy clinical environment

Education

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy
