Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment
Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform advanced nursing interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and discharge needs

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in the state of California
ICU experience and comfort working with critically ill patients
Current BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
Ability to work per diem/day shifts and adapt to varying assignments
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
State RN licensure in California

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with IV medications, titrations, and infusion pumps
Comfortable using electronic medical records and accurate charting
Skilled in prioritization, rapid decision-making, and teamwork under pressure
