Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs; promptly report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Assist with hygiene, feeding, and comfort measures while preserving dignity
Document care accurately and communicate effectively during handoffs
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver quality care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California preferred/required)
Previous CNA experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus
Comfortable and dependable for night/overnight shifts
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and safety practices
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and standard precautions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Empathy, patience, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
