Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry nursing care for adult patients
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and carry out individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and professionally
Educate patients and families about disease processes, telemetry findings, and discharge plans
Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety practices

Qualifications

Current and active RN license (California) or compact RN license if applicable
Telemetry/medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or encouraged
Strong clinical assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Patient assessment and triage skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Electronic medical record documentation
Time management and prioritization in high-acuity settings
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and advocate for patients
